Go back in time to the early 19th century and learn about the crafts, trades, foods, skills and life of the early Moravians in Salem. History, science and art come alive with many hands-on activities. This one week program (9-12) each day is loaded with fun hands-on activities like pottery, hearth cooking, architecture, gardening, historic crafts, working with historic textiles and much more!

Summer Apprentice Program dates:

The Summer Conservatory is a Christian summer music day camp that offers high quality professional music instruction. A good number of our faculty have advanced degrees in music and play and teach professionally in the area.
 
Classes
Students at the Summer Conservatory will learn to play a brass instrument as part of a brass band. They will also learn a second instrument of their choice (guitar, piano or marching percussion). Students also get to sing in a choir and learn music theory.
All music instruction at the Summer Conservatory is group based and available for all levels of playing, from beginners through advanced.

The Summer Conservatory is a Christian summer music day camp that offers high quality professional music instruction. A good number of our faculty have advanced degrees in music and play and teach professionally in the area.
 
Classes
Students at the Summer Conservatory will learn to play a brass instrument as part of a brass band. They will also learn a second instrument of their choice (guitar, piano or marching percussion). Students also get to sing in a choir and learn music theory.
All music instruction at the Summer Conservatory is group based and available for all levels of playing, from beginners through advanced.
