Artist Kinkade, the self-described “Painter of Light”, died Friday at his home in Los Gatos in the San Francisco Bay Area of what appeared to be natural causes, said family spokesman David Satterfield. Chuck Colson remains in the hospital after undergoing surgery over the weekend.  The 80 year old Colson became ill on while speaking at a conference in northern Virginia. Colson is the founder of Prison Fellowship Ministries.  http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/

Bringing your dog to work may add big benefits to your workday. A new study has found people who work alongside their pets have less stress and find their jobs more satisfying. Participants in the study broke the employees into three groups: those who brought their pets to work, those who didn’t, and employees who didn’t have a pet. Researchers say there wasn’t a difference in stress hormone levels between the groups, but self-reported stress levels declined in those working near their pets, while others reported an increase in stress they feel throughout the day. http://triad.news14.com/content/top_stories/655891/study-shows-working-alongside-your-pet-may-lower-stress

The city of Winston-Salem is offering FREE leaf mulch (while supplies last) starting TODAY…then on each Saturday in April from 8am to 3pm.  Crews will even load the FREE mulch on your truck or trailer.

The Greensboro Grasshoppers season opener from last night was delayed until TONIGHT because of ran. Fans with tickets from last nights game? They can bring their tickets to the box office and exchange them for any future 2012 regular season game. First pitch for this evening is set for 7:15pm
